Are you feeling discouraged about the recent Westernized games? Are you seeing red and thinking about pulling your support from Voltage entirely?
HERE’S WHY YOU SHOULDN’T:
*Voltage is one of the more successful otome gaming companies that bring their games to the English language audience. If you want more otome games in English, pulling your support will do the exact opposite of this. If a successful company like Voltage starts having suffering sales, no other game company will want to take more risks to expand the otome genre in the West.
*You’re punishing the writers, artists, translators, and other members of the Voltage team who are actually doing great work. You love pork noodle jokes? You get all hot and bothered every time you see a guy wearing black gloves and a leather jacket? You have the LLFTX team to thank for that. This is my favorite Voltage game, but I’m sure you have your favorite, too. Don’t punish that team, which is completely different from the team in San Francisco who is smoking god knows what when they come up with the weird art.
So what SHOULD you do?
Email Voltage. This is the email lysphere posted:
Here is a form in Japanese (use your browser to translate it) to send feedback to their Japanese office
Some English forms, thanks Otome Sweetheart:

Write them a message on their official Facebook page:
Tell them you don’t like the Westernized versions, and be specific as to WHY you don’t like them. Poor quality, the personalities of the boys, the changed storyline, whatever. Tell them clearly that you will NOT spend money on these games.
Then tell them about your FAVORITE Voltage game. Why do you like it? Tell them about how much money you’ve spent buying Voltage games with the original art to let them know how loyal of a customer you are. They have a responsibility to the customer.
And this is the number one thing you shouldn’t do: Purchase any routes from the Westernized game. I don’t care how curious you are, if you don’t truly support the game, DON’T BUY IT. All they see on their end is the dollar signs, NOT YOUR INTENT. Vote with your wallet, people. Faithfully buy the routes from the original art games.
LET YOUR VOICES BE HEARD.
